William Garrood - Chair of Governors
I have been a St Andrew's governor since 2016 and chair since 2020. I am a church governor, but also a parent, with two boys at the school in year 3 and 6. They've both been there since reception. It’s been a great school for them for the formal side and for helping them feel happy and safe.
Originally, I’m from just outside London, but I’ve lived in London since 2000. For the first few years in north London (where I was also a school governor) and in Stockwell since 2006. I believe education and the role of schools is critical for our children and really helps bring communities together.
I am currently the Director of Strategy for WaterAid, a development charity dedicated to water, sanitation and hygiene. I aim to bring my expertise in governance and performance to the governing body to help the staff do the best job for all the children.

Jayne Mitchell - Executive Headteacher
I qualified as a teacher in 1991 and worked in Islington for many years before I was appointed as the Headteacher at St. Andrew's in 2002. In 2016 our school partnered with Christ Church SW9 and I was appointed as the Executive Headteacher of the federation. Over the years, I have been a serving Ofsted inspector, I have chaired many Lambeth committees and working groups and I am currently a member of the Lambeth Schools Partnership Board.
I am passionate about education and the development of our children as individuals who can make informed choices. I believe strongly in growing academic skills and knowledge, but also believe in physical, personal and creative development. School is about improving skills and knowledge, developing friendships, learning how to be good citizens, having fun and growing independence. It is an absolute privilege to be the Headteacher at St. Andrew's and to work with all our amazing children and families.

Stephen Balogun - Foundation Governor
As a father of 3 boys, St. Andrew’s has been an integral part of my family’s life.
I believe that governors have a special role and should always try to assess issues and decisions from the point of view of parents/carers and families.
I feel passionately about education and have had a background in education having worked in a private school and also established my own education guardianship company. I work with energy and enthusiasm to help St. Andrew’s maintain high standards and meet future challenges.
