St Andrew’s Breakfast Club is available every day of the school year and is open to all pupils from 7:30am.

We know what it’s like for many parents and carers first thing in the morning with a hectic rush to get out of the house and get everyone to school.
That’s why we aim to provide you with a full day of childcare and education in a safe and welcoming environment for your child – starting with an early drop off and a healthy and nutritious breakfast for your child.
‘Your local first class school - all day, every day’
The standard opening time for St Andrews is 8:45am, but Breakfast Club allows a drop off from 7:30am.
Children are offered breakfast on arrival to get them ready for a busy day of learning and fun. A choice of cereals, yoghurts, rice cakes and raisins are available daily, along with a choice of hot and cold breakfasts and drinks from the following:
- Toast
- Choice of cereals and milk
- Cheese toasties
- Baked Beans or scrambled eggs on toast
- Bagels with a choice of toppings
After eating breakfast the children have the choice to play with their friends (with access to the playground under supervision), or take part in structured activities, such as reading, drawing, arts and crafts, board games, lego or circle time and more.
Children attending Breakfast Club are then taken directly to class in time for the beginning of the school day at 9am.

How does St Andrew’s Breakfast Club work?
St Andrew’s Breakfast Club is available every day or on a one-off basis and you do not need to book in advance.
Simply turn up on the days you wish your child to join Breakfast Club and make payments as set out below.

Time: 7:30am – 9am
Costs: £4.50 per session. Breakfast Club can be paid via Parent Pay or with Childcare Vouchers.
Important: Children must arrive at school by 8:30am at the latest to be on time for Breakfast Club but should not arrive before 7:30am.
